The story of Maritz is a unique tale of longevity, adaptation and continuous evolution. In 1894, Edward Maritz started the E. Maritz Jewelry Manufacturing Company, a wholesaler and manufacturer of fine jewelry and engraved watches. During the Great Depression, the company began to sell watches, jewelry and merchandise to large companies, creating a sales incentive and employee rewards business. As the world changes, we continue to transform our organization to meet the changing needs of companies, their customers and their workers.
